Founders are not just after getting rich – they are trying to change the world for the better. Often being young and inexperienced, they face significant and often unnecessary challenges on their journey to make our lives better, and so deserve support! FDF’s mission is to defend founders from adversities they face along the way.
The problem
Founders have it tough. They need our help!
Founders? Why should we support those arrogant profit-seekers?
We may naturally resist feeling sympathy towards founders. After all, they are those energetic cheerful types who just dream about money – why would we need to feel sorry for them?
Yes and no.
Yes, they tend to be optimistic and confident, but that’s CLASSIC survivor bias. Have you heard much about founders who had a great idea and ALMOST made it?
Yes, entrepreneurs aim for success. But financial success is inseparable from an overall successfully deployed idea – an idea that made our world a little better. The way things currently work, entrepreneurship is often the best (sometimes the only) way of making a change.
Being a founder is as much about making the world a better place as it is about personal achievement and riches.
But what about “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”?
Let me reframe this: What doesn’t kill you, kills others around you, and those startups may have been working on world-changing ideas!

To hell with the Prime Directive! We don’t just watch the founders struggle and fail naturally – we fight for them!
Burnout and failure often come not from hard work, but from overcoming barriers that shouldn’t have been there: other people’s apathy and selfishness, lack of educational resources, regulations that make no sense.
We’ll do our best to help you navigate those barriers – or clear them altogether!

- Need visibility? We’ll spread the word!

Who are the Founder Defence Force?
FDF is a movement that is open for participation to universities, innovation hubs, accelerators, and founders themselves.
At Inspiradrome, we are currently running a rogue FDF squadron: helping founders on a case-by-case basis with networking, publicity and advice.
When conditions align, FDF will be launched as a full-scale international movement.
